I don't do sick very well. I get bored too easy. So I thought I'd post my before and after pics of the cute little french provincial hutch in our breakfast room.
Hutch Before
Hutch After
This hutch is my mother's (we built a large new home and combined our households) and it desperately needed work. I thought it would be much cuter lightened up. I took the glass out from behind the screening because #1, it was impossible to keep clean and #2 because I broke one trying to get it out to clean it. We decided you could see what is in the hutch soooo much better without the glass. It was a lot of work but well worth it. See those chairs next to it? There are 2 arm chairs and 4 side chairs that will be redone along with the table. I've decided to paint the skirt and legs of the table to match the hutch and refinish the cherry top. After painting the chairs to match the hutch I'll recover the seats in a little black and cream check fabric. I think it will look tres cute, n'est pas? (I definitely need to buy a photo editing program and work on editing my pictures before posting)
