Sunday Reflections

Do you feel disappointed when things don't turn out the way you had planned? I have to admit that much of the time I do. But God has taught me a lot in the last few years about waiting on Him and His timing. God's timing is infinitely better than mine. As I've gotten older I've found value in biding my time. Not being in such an all fired hurry. Difficult pill for this Type A to swallow. One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31:

Yet those who wait on the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
