...is technically called a fluke. See that gorgeous fluke in the picture above? I shot that picture last week in Auke Bay, Alaska. We had whales about 50 feet from our boat. It was soooo exciting to experience. The whale watching trip was definitely the highlight of our trip. Getting the mother of all sinus/bronchial infections was definitely the low point. The beauty of Alaska is really beyond explanation. You just MUST see it for yourself one of these days if you haven't already. We love it so much we went last year, this year and will go again next year. Sick or not, life I good!
